The initial place you should look is up in your attic or the top of your shed, garage and outer buildings. During the early summer months of June and July the nest will only be the size of a tennis ball. From August to October it can become much larger and adapt to a dark straw colour. If you can't see the nest take a slow walk around the property for signs of wasps going in and out of entrance holes.
